The meat in each ground beef package will come from one specific animal, unlike a grocery store ground beef package, which can contain meat from hundreds of animals. Ours is generally 97% lean and comes packed in 1 pound packages
Ancestral Ground Beef is 50% Lean Chuck & 50% Organ meat (Liver, Kidney, Pancreas). This does give the meat a distinct flavor but is highly nutritious and an amazing source of Iron, Zinc and Vitamins A, D, E, & K.
